    Job Title:

    Oncology Systems Specialist

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide subject-matter expertise and knowledge regarding Oncology systems to all stakeholders, and provide user support as required.
    • Monitor and assess the extent to which system functionalities meet user requirements.
    • Manage Service level delivery according to agreed SLAs.
    • Investigate incidents and problem reports regarding systems and assist with problem resolution.
    • Ensure maintenance requests are logged and implemented with minimal disruptions.
    • Know the Systems landscape and ensure it is monitored and optimized.
    • Document interdependencies between systems and optimize for business stability.
    • Manage 3rd Party escalation.

    Small Enhancements Coordination:

    • Proactively identify shortcomings in Oncology system functionalities and make recommendations for changes/improvements.
    • Follow change governance process for any changes in Oncology IT environment.
    • Ensure understanding of business changes to determine systems impact.
    • Review deployment plan and sign off if correct.
    • Provide subject-matter expertise and support to change projects.

    Desired Experience & Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years' direct experience managing IT systems from a business perspective.
    • 3-5 years related work experience.
    • Operational experience in a corporate channel environment.
    • Experience in a healthcare services environment.
    • ITIL Foundation Certified is a prerequisite.
    • Knowledge of operating systems (Microsoft Windows).
    • Solid understanding of technology and associated security risks.

    Additional Requirements:

    • The ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
    • Previous experience in the healthcare industry will be advantageous.
