    An innovative and fast paced Legal and compliance consultancy who works to empower businesses, large and small, consultancy is in a growth phase and looking to build up their team with young professionals who are strategic in thinking, can process and execute on information swiftly and ultimately deliver results for their (mosty) fintech, cryptocurrency, tech and foreign government clients.

    They offer a wide range of legal services, including CIPC Compliance, Data Protection and Privacy Compliance, Contract Management, Company Law Compliance, IT Governance, Risk Management and Compliance, AML/CFT Compliance, ESG Compliance, Cyber and Digital Law.

    Job Overview

    Responsible for:

    • Drafting letters of demand for both the company and on behalf of Clients
    • General drafting and reviewing of legal contracts
    • Negotiating contracts (for company l and on behalf of clients)
    • Tracking
      • Contracts tracking which is to see where our client is in a contract
      • Checking client duties
      • Monitoring the contents agreed to
      • keeping track of what has been completed and/ is still outstanding
      • being able to communicate that to clients.
    • Regulations & basic American law #learnonthejob

    Requirements

    • LLB admitted attorney
    • 2-3 years post admission
    • Sound knowledge of contract law, Company law and IP law in terms of their role in contracts.
    • 1+ year debt collection experience
    • Shown pattern of learning quickly and consistently
    • Exposure or experience with USA contract law is advantageous
      • GDPR understanding and compliance
      • EU AI act
