Creditors Clerk - 6 months contract


A position for a
Creditors Clerk is available with a very well established, national client of ours, based in Goodwood, Cape Town.


Salary:
R16K ctc per month (before deductions)


This is a 6-month contract role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a portfolio of suppliers
  • Capturing supplier invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Solving queries
  • Reconciling Supplier Account Statement (Creditors Reconciliation)
  • Loading payment for supplier based on supplier terms.
  • Reallocating expenses to correct GL codes (journals)

  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers including communication with suppliers and other related parties.
  • Processing of Invoices
  • Attend to queries
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • Vendor payments
  • Additional duties as designated by management

  • Well organised, accurate and attention to detail

  • Must be able to understand
    Afrikaans:
  • Fully computer literate and above average skills on MS Office programs
  • Proactive

  • Ability to manage volumes

Experience:


  • Experience in a Creditors environment
  • Experience in a Finance environment
  • Experience in a Corporate / High Volume environment

Qualifications:

  • A financial diploma or degree will be beneficial.
