Sales Manager - Hotel Group - Johannesburg
Responsibilities:
- Uphold the company's Minimum Operating Standards, ensuring excellence in divisional standards.
- Develop individual accounts using insights from various sources, such as Sales Offices, Front Office, regular guests, media, and market intelligence, under the guidance of the Sales and Marketing Directors.
- Identify and explore new market opportunities, crafting strategies to engage potential clients and organizations.
- Maintain accurate sales and catering records, keeping them uptodate.
- Align with the Marketing Plan to maximize revenue through effective sales and marketing initiatives.
- Represent the property professionally both internally and externally, adhering to established guidelines.
- Collaborate daily with the Sales & Marketing team to coordinate sales and marketing activities.
- Coordinate with Sales Offices on group business initiatives.
- Track account performance, regularly reviewing and forecasting.
- Research and compile targeted mailing lists.
- Generate salesrelated statistics, including nationality, guest origin, and booking sources.
- Organize and participate in property tours for potential clients, highlighting facilities and services.
- Host potential and existing clients in food and beverage outlets as required.
- Develop overseas accounts through international sales trips if necessary.
- Assist with duty Management shifts when scheduled, Handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by General Management, contributing to the overall success of the properties.
