Inventory Clerk Automotive ~ Manufacturing

Johannesburg East, Johannesburg - Gauteng - South Africa

Maintain stock accuracy, ensuring products are stored away and picking stock available in the distribution centre.


Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Matric
  • Logistics/Supply Chain Tertiary Qualification (Higher Certificate /Diploma)
  • 2year Inventory Control experience
  • Forklift/Reach Truck license Advantageous
  • Experience obtained in a manufacturing/automotive facility
Key Results Areas

  • Main and Reverse logistics Perpetual and Month Stock Counts
  • Warehouse Stock Rotation is executed (FIFO)
  • Mitigate writeoff of old stock
  • Improve stock integrity
  • Investigate stock variances
  • Contribute to the improvement of the warehouse Out of the Stock situation
  • Ensure received stock is stored timeously and efficiently
  • Ensure the right stock is available for picking
  • Stock Write off reduction
  • Identify areas to improve Stock damages in the distribution centre
  • Reduce stock losses
