    **Procurement Agent**

    We are seeking a skilled procurement expert to join our team at Michelle Taylor Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics and procurement department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers and overseeing the procurement process from start to finish.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing a network of suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensure the best possible prices and terms.
    • Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet the needs of our clients.
    • Coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
    • Analyzing supplier proposals and orders to ensure the best value for our clients.
    • Providing excellent customer service and communication to internal stakeholders and clients.

    Requirements:

    • Matric Certificate
    • Qualification in logistics, procurement or supply chain will be advantageous.
    • A minimum of three years experience in a similar position.
    • Valid SA driver's license.
    • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Financial acumen and understanding of procurement disciplines.
    • Self-driven and able to meet deadlines with excellent time management and planning skills.
    • Strong negotiation skills.
