    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Coordinator to join our team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Request quotations and order materials from approved suppliers to meet demand.
    • Maintain accurate inventory levels and documentation on the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
    • Create and submit timely Purchase Orders for approval via the ERP system.
    • Evaluate external providers to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
    • Conduct incoming inspections of received materials.
    • Capture purchased stock and materials on the ERP system.
    • Address supplier queries promptly and efficiently.
    • Communicate progress with vendors and suppliers to team members and managers.
    • Maintain and update supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, and product ranges.
    • Comply with current company procurement procedures and policies.
    • Perform minor support roles within the company as required.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Purchasing or equivalent experience.

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • 2-5 years of relevant industry experience.
    • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
    • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
    • Good planning and coordinating skills.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • Understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and potential issues.
    • Pro-active approach to managing technical query processes between suppliers and engineers.

    Desirable Skills and Experience:

    • Experience in procurement of Electronic components.
    • Experience in coordinating international shipping from suppliers.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems.

    General Skills:

    • Ability to learn quickly and absorb new information rapidly.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate on large projects.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • High standard of communication skills in English (verbal and written).
