Education:
- Minimum Grade 12 with relevant experience
Skills/Experience required:
- Full experience in managing an FMCG warehouse.
- Hands on experience with order pickings, dispatching and liaising with transporters.
- Excellent people management skills
- Highly disciplined with a high level of integrity
- Experience in international shipping/connected to various government clearing departments such as customs etc.
- Have a network of transporters
Duties:
- Full Warehouse Management function working within the FMCG industry
- Processing orders
- Operating mechanical and IT systems
- Training, supervising and appraising staff
- Maintaining statistical and financial records
- Ensuring that quality objectives and deadlines are met
- Managing budget
- Administer stock control
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
