Description

Duties/Pligte- Responsible for handling enquiries about postgraduate studies in Civil Engineering;- Initial and follow-up communication related to admissions, registrations, enrolments and progress to all postgraduate students, supervisors, and the Registrar's Office; Preparing and maintaining student progress onto the University and departmental database systems;- Handling general enquiries from enrolled postgraduate students in civil engineering;- Assisting with administration of internal and external examination of postgraduate theses and dissertations, including coordinating documentation and organising oral examinations.


Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes- A relevant post-matric qualification (NQF 6 or higher) in finance, administration, or project management;- At least three years' directly applicable experience in interaction with and administration of students or members of the public;- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;Recommendation/Aanbeveling- Knowledge and experience of student administration within an engineering / science or technical research environment;- Appropriate experience with Stellenbosch University's financial systems.
