    Job Overview

    Analyze economic trends and product performance to optimize allocated portfolios in Business & Commercial Banking South Africa. Provide Management Information Systems and economics reporting to support portfolio development, implementation, and management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough analysis of economic trends and product data to inform business decisions.
    • Develop and implement actionable recommendations to improve portfolio performance.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective analytics solutions.
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive Management Information Systems and economics reports.
    • Stay up-to-date with market developments and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimal performance.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Sciences or Finance and Accounting.
    • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in economic trend analysis and reporting for a product portfolio.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data.
    • Proven experience in scenario analysis and project implementation.
    • Familiarity with actuarial, mathematical, financial, and statistical modeling, as well as advanced analytics techniques.
    • Practical experience within banking is advantageous.
