JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Receipts copies of all imported sea freight orders/shipping documents and Ensure clearing is done timely and cost efficiently
Knowledge of the Customs and Excise Act, rules and Regulations, harmonised and Preparing of Customs SAD500 and worksheet using EDI System...ACS (Advanced Customs Solution

- prepare to Submit documents for any government agency stops (Port health, Plant Inspection and State Vet)

Negotiating rates with shipping lines, airlines, partner agents and transporters to provide clients with cost saving quote estimates
Arranging/Booking of Sea and Airfreight imports shipments from pickup until delivery. Forwarding and Clearing.
Monitoring imports/export demurrage in order to avoid incurring additional costs
Booking of exports Sea and Airfreight shipments FCL AND LCL
Track and tracing shipments through depots to ensure prompt deliveries.
Control and Manage of pending customs cases, stops and post clearance operations
Arrange booking & prepare all Export/Import documentation
Prealerts for all Exports/Imports shipments
Resolve customs queries
Suppliers management skill
Supply management with updates on shipments
Updating weekly and daily shipping schedule

Requirements:

Strong administrative skills
Must have experience in all different modes of transport (Air, Sea, Road, Courier)
Able to handle files from, start to end including invoices
Need to know how to process all different certificates on the export and import shipments
Need to have Import permit requirement knowledge
Able to draw out the SOP for different shipment and cases handling
Certificate in Imports, Exports-Minimum of 2 years experience in Import & export within the industry

Ability to commute/relocate:
