    Description

    Medipost Pharmacy is seeking a self-driven professional to join the Order Processing Department as a Cluster Pharmacist in Gezina, Pretoria.

    Primary Job Responsibilities

    1. Deliver patient care in accordance with Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) regulations.
    2. Participate in training sessions on Pharmacy Acts and GPP guidelines.
    3. Attend Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) training and revisions.
    4. Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Procedures, and SOPs.
    5. Maintain adherence to Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act regulations.
    6. Capture chronic and acute medication prescriptions accurately and handle rejections according to company SOPs.
    7. Manage cluster and personal action diaries efficiently.
    8. Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements by completing mailbox profiles and action diaries within specified timelines.
    9. Address clinical inquiries and engage in discussions with patients and healthcare professionals or Support Pharmacists (SPNs).
    10. Respond promptly to email messages or enquiries from management, SPNs, or members in a professional manner.
    11. Handle OUT OF WIP notifications effectively.
    12. Monitor the blind checking mailbox and respond within SLA timelines.
    13. Exercise stock management skills, including understanding cold chain processes, expiry dates, and stock returns.
    14. Pursue registration as a Medipost tutor through the Medical Tutor Academy (MTA).
    15. Train and educate a small group of assistants on company SOPs, policies, over-the-counter medications, and health-related topics.
    16. Assume charge of a small group of assistants in accordance with the Disaster Recovery Plan.
