    Job Title:

    A Human Resources Administrator is needed by a leading security firm in Gauteng.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • HR Administration:
      • Track daily employee attendance, time, and leave schedules;
      • Manage employee time-off requests and monitor overtime hours;
      • Maintain accurate records of employee files and leave balances;
      • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations;
      • Draft and issue employment contracts and related documents;
      • Process payroll transactions and maintain HR databases;
    • Workman's Compensation:
      • Investigate and manage work-related injuries and claims;
      • Analyze cost control and management reports on claims processes;
    • Performance Management and Training:
      • Coordinate training schedules and bookings for employees;
      • Monitor learner progress and apprenticeship schedules;
      • Facilitate performance reviews and provide support for employee development;
    • Payroll:
      • Process monthly payroll transactions and maintain accurate records;
      • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and Payroll Administrator;
    • Recruitment:
      • Candidate screening and suitability assessments for job placements;
      • Sourcing and managing recruitment administration, including reference checks and background screenings;
    • Other (Adhoc basis):
      • Oversee Health and Safety programs in line with OHS Act requirements;
      • Provide relief support for Payroll Administrator as needed;

    Record, communicate, and file all medical results.

    Desired Experience and Qualification

    • Grade 12 qualification or equivalent;
    • Knowledge of transport and logistics industry legislation and operating requirements;
    • Working experience in payroll, HR administration, and recruitment processes;
    • Familiarity with the security industry an advantage;
    • Proficiency in English, Afrikaans, and additional languages (e.g., IsiXhosa, IsiZulu) an advantage;
    • Own transportation necessary;
