    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • We conduct in-depth research on relevant concepts and industries to provide programme managers with the necessary information for administering research activities, compiling research reports, and commissioning research. Our team coordinates the review, draft, and/or validation of research reports.
    • Assisting executives in developing research questions to support ongoing strategic delivery is a critical aspect of our role.
    • We serve as chief editors for final concepts and thought leadership pieces that are potential candidates for publication.
    • Our team is responsible for coordinating the publications of research reports, policy briefs, thought leadership, and journal articles for both internal and external consumption.
    • We compile and present the consolidated APP and Operations Plan, ensuring all stakeholders have access to the most up-to-date information.
    • We manage and coordinate the development and review of the 5 Year Strategic Plan, aligning it with the organisation's goals.
    • Analysing programme outputs and assessing implications for programme performance/implementation is an essential part of our job.
    • We monitor and evaluate the implementation and performance of various programmes in line with the APP.
    • Contributing relevant programme information to support ideation, validation, and solution development is a key function of our role.
    • We manage and monitor the delivery of outsourced service provider work for PMO functions.
    • In addition to these responsibilities, we also support team members in their duties and contribute to a cohesive team effort.

    Essential Requirements:

    • A university degree in a related subject is required.
    • A postgraduate degree related to research and strategy is highly desirable.
    • At least 5 years of experience in research and analysis capability.
    • Strong strategy development and management capability.
    • Programme management experience is essential.
    • A significant understanding of research processes.
    • An understanding of statistical data is necessary.
    • A good knowledge of programme and project management tools.
