We are a currently recruiting for a Desk Based Account Manager to join the ADI team in Johannesburg The Desk Based Account Manager (DBAM) is a proactive Account Manager operating as the main contact for the customer, responsible for developing long term customer sales relationships.

• Deliver individual sales target against revenue and GP as defined by ADI
• Develop and grow strong relationships with allocated customer base
• Includes outbound calls to generate sales and service opportunities c20 per day
• Inbound call handling to specific customer base and in support of field agents
• Develop and document service support plans for existing and new customers
• Accurately provide customer quotations and where required process manual orders to meet KPI's
• Work alongside external Account Manager to develop a partnership across a region to strengthen ADI presence
• Direct customers to the correct teams for technical support & account queries
• Upsell through attachments and complete solution orders
• Support new business onboarding until account is allocated appropriately
• Manage customer expectation and communicate with customer to resolve issues, complaints and invoice queries
• Effectively communicate with both external & internal customers
• Provide exception customer experience against all customer transactions
• Develop and submit month sales reports to monitor agreed metrics
