• Matric / Diploma/NQF 4 qualification or equivalent
• A post matric qualification in Production Management or other relevant field would be advantageous
• Min 3 years' planning experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Computer literate with a high level of proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel)
• Placing Purchase Orders for thread and fabric being used and following up on deliveries
• Processing documentation quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary
• Planning of production on the relevant machines
• Weekly stock assessment
• Auditing production capacity, comparing the plan with actual production and reporting on anomalies
• Resolving issues and troubleshooting
• Attend daily departmental meetings with branding manager
• Innovative and meticulous, with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to manage own time effectively with a keen sense of urgency
• Ability work effectively under pressure within a team environment
• High level of personal resilience
