JOB SUMMARY:


Main Purpose of Position:


The AWS Pre-Sales Solutions Architect will provide deep insight into the value proposition of AWS services and solutions to our business partners and help them gain a deep understanding of the benefits of AWS and will leverage his/her technical experience and knowledge of AWS services and programs to support business partners in progressing on their AWS partner journey and assisting them in expanding their AWS business.


The AWS Pre-Sales Solutions Architect will demonstrate a strong ability to solve complex business challenges utilising AWS services and programs and will own the technical sales cycle.

The AWS Technical Consultant will plan for and conduct technical demonstrations and AWS program insights, deliver technical enablement workshops, and engage with partners and their clients, presenting and discussing AWS services and solutions.

The AWS Technical Consultant will serve as the AWS technical advisor to our partner community and will establish and manage strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.


To succeed, the AWS Pre-Sales Solutions Architect must have deep knowledge and understanding of AWS services, solutions, and programs, technical protocols and cloud architectures, excellent customer and vendor focus, and a passion for technical selling.

Minimum Qualification:


  • Minimum tertiary qualification required
  • National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
  • BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferable but not essential

Certification Requirements:


  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate required
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional preferred but not essential
  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional preferable but not essential
  • AWS Speciality Certifications preferable but not essential

Minimum Experience:


  • 8 years of IT technical sales experience
  • 3 years of AWS Solution Architect experience

Skills Requirement:


  • Experience in managing frontend platforms, servers, storage, delivery, and networks required to manage cloud storage.
  • Experience with operating systems: Linux, Unix, Solaris, Ubuntu, Windows.
  • Thorough knowledge of infrastructure architecture and design.
  • Good understanding of networking: TCP/IP,
