Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Attend and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face.

Responsible to assist with day-to-day tasks in Admin and Financial department (inclusive of creditors and debtors administrative work) and facilitate the efficient and effective administration tasks.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Grade 12
Office administration certificate / Finance certificate
Office administration Diploma / Finance Diploma (Advantage)


EXPERIENCE:

2-3 years' Experience in Finance or in a similar position
2-3 years creditors / debtors experience
2-3 years' Experience in an administrative role

SAGE 200/Evolution or related software packages
SharePoint.
Experience in a bid/sales office will be advantageous

Excellent writing and proof-reading skills with an eye for detail
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures


RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide high quality customer service to internal and external customers
Manage and update the telephone contact list of all staff members.
Receive and sort mail and deliveries.
Scanning and filling Delivery Notes from Suppliers
Collecting statements & invoices from suppliers
Invoices and reconcile the suppliers accounts.
Deal with creditors related queries.
Checking if all stock on hand is invoiced accordingly.
Capturing supplier payments on the Bank recon
Issuing quotations, valid PO's to staff & suppliers
Accuracy of data processing
Maintain necessary filling system on a monthly basis.
Provide general administrative and other clerical support as assigned
