Overview

Minimum Requirements:

Matric Certificate or relevant certifications in IT and networking.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel to various locations.
Mikrotik MTCNA certification or relevant work experience in managing Mikrotik equipment.
Experience or certification in managing Cambium/Ubiquiti or other wireless equipment is a plus.
Additional knowledge in Sophos firewall certification and basic understanding of DNS for domain setups is advantageous.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Fault Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor live circuits for faults and promptly report any issues to the fiber network suppliers' NOC.
Handle fault reporting of customer issues and ensure timely resolution.

Technical Setup and Support:
Set up and support the local LAN, including firewall network, desktops, network points, and printers.
Provide first-level support for Windows operating systems and network troubleshooting through Mikrotik routers.

Networking Setup and Planning:
Plan and implement network setups, ensuring the proper allocation of ASN IP addresses on the central IP address list.
Configure Mikrotik CCR devices at data centers with OSPF and BGP routing and filters.
Implement IP addresses and PPPOE queue configurations on local Mikrotik firewall devices.
Configure and set up local Mikrotik firewall devices with appropriate rules and LAN configurations, including DHCP.

Wireless Infrastructure Setup and Support:
Plan and set up wireless networks and provide ongoing support for wireless infrastructure.
Manage and maintain Mikrotik equipment for wireless systems.
Experience or certification in handling Cambium/Ubiquiti or other wireless equipment is preferred.
