    Business Development Manager (Sales Manager)

    Summary: Lead business development efforts, securing new clients and fostering long-term relationships through strategic networking, market research, and sales tactics.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prospect for potential new clients and grow existing ones to increase business revenue.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through cold calling and networking within designated markets or geographic areas.
    • Identify key decision-makers and decision-influencers within client organizations.
    • Research and establish strong relationships with new clients to drive growth.
    • Represent the company at industry functions, such as conferences and association events, providing valuable insights on market trends.
    • Present business solutions and strategies to mid-to-senior level management, aiming to develop new services, products, and distribution channels.
    • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales.
    • Develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators by leveraging knowledge of the market and competitors.
    • Provide weekly progress reports, ensuring accurate data entry into the CRM system and meeting sales targets.

    Client Retention Strategies

    • Promote new products and services to enhance existing relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with technical staff and internal colleagues to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
    • Arrange and participate in client debriefs to discuss successes, challenges, and future goals.

    Business Development Planning

    • Attend industry events and conferences to gather insights on market and creative trends.
    • Present to and consult with mid-to-senior level management on business trends to inform the development of new services, products, and distribution channels.
    • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales.
    • Develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators by leveraging knowledge of the market and competitors.

    Management and Research

    • Submit weekly progress reports, ensuring accurate data entry into the CRM system and meeting sales targets.
    • Forecast sales targets and work with the team to meet these objectives.
    • Track and record activity on accounts to help close deals and meet sales targets.
    • Collaborate with marketing staff to ensure prerequisites are fulfilled in a timely manner.
    • Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
    • Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company's people and capabilities.
    • Understand the company's goals and purpose to continually enhance performance.
