JOB PURPOSE (describe in one or two sentences the overall and unique purpose of the job)

  • To develop original content and creative avenues for social media, to attract customers, promote the Clicks, TBS and GNC brands and maintain a strong online presence. You will have 4 direct reports.

JOB OBJECTIVES (describe the key responsibilities of the job, in order of importance)

  • To use social media marketing tools to execute and maintain Clicks, TBS and GNC brand plan.
  • To design and coordinate implementation of differentiating customer experience initiatives, tools, and processes
  • Customer Experiences Implementation.
  • To execute several aspects of digital marketing operations, such as planning digital marketing campaigns including supplier campaigns, creating concepts and contents, setting audiences and value propositions, and integrating digital channels.
  • To contribute to the definition of the digital marketing strategy and plan by providing input regarding the implementation of initiatives.
  • To conduct research and select relevant information to enable analysis of key themes and trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.

  • 6+ years experience in marketing (desirable in retail/FMCG marketing), with 5+ years in social media marketing
  • 4+ years experience managing diverse teams

  • National Diploma in Marketing (or relevant discipline)
  • Bachelor of Commerce degree (or relevant discipline, e.g. Marketing)
