The main purpose of this position is to assist the Personnel Security Vetting Section with administrative support with regards to security vetting for contractors and service providers at the Cape Town facility of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB).
Detailed Description

Escort vetting applicants/visitors to and from reception.

Scan and roll the fingerprints of vetting applicants.
Collect and submit vettingrelated documents to and from the external and internal stakeholders and service providers, such as the South African Police Service, the Criminal Record Centre, the State Security Agency, AFISwitch / Ideco, the Department of Home Affairs and departments within the SARB.
Render administrative support and management information services to the Personnel Security Vetting Section.
Maintain all equipment and ensure that operating facilities are secure and in good order.
Assist with prescreening and other vettingrelated activities at the Cape Town facility.

Job Requirements
a Grade 12 certificate plus a National Higher Certificate (NQF 5), or an equivalent qualification;
- at least one to two years' experience in a vetting administrative environment;
- experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite (including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Outlook as well as the internet and an ERP system;
- knowledge of service and stakeholder engagement, data collection and analysis;
- a favourable security clearance; and
- a valid Code 8 driver's licence.
