Key Accountabilities

Daily and Monthly Tasks

  • Complete cash overs/unders and related queries.
  • Load sundry/monthly and forex payments into banking system.
  • Print relevant proof of payments made from banking system.
  • Refunds to customers as and when required.
  • Ensure control sheet is updated (customer refund related).
  • Daily speedpoint banking.
  • Ensure speedpoint merchant numbers are updated.
  • Record and monitor Fidelity collections.
  • Process cash deposits / debit orders and transfers into Pastel.
  • Process store deposits into Excel.
  • After monthend run, complete and check cash overs/unders, including RCS, speedpoint and Cards.
  • Process speedpoint overs/unders journal.
  • Cash overs/unders journal and clearing 601 account.
  • Cash overs/unders check 1001 account.
  • Cash floats and Petty cash.
  • Travel and accommodation bookings
  • Bank Charges check and process per store.


  • Fidelity

  • Daily Deposits.


  • Fidelity
- missed collections spreadsheet to be sent to Fidelity for credit.


  • Fidelity
- reconciliation to be submitted to Fidelity by 01st of each new month.


  • Fidelity
- send stationary to stores and process stationary reallocation to stores journal.


Housekeeping

  • Maintain cleanliness in office.

General

  • Finance tasks allocated by the Accountant
  • Assist auditors (internal / external) with required information/documentation.
  • Reception reliever

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

(_You must be able to answer "YES" to all requirements listed below_)

  • Matric Certificate.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Code 8 drivers license, undendorsed
  • Pastel/Evolution experience
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
