Debtors and Creditors Clerk required to join a client in the finance industry. Based in Ballito.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience
Good knowledge of Pastel
Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel, Office36
Vibrant & enthusiastic.
Hardworking.
A selfstarter.
Dedicated.
Detail orientated.
Must be able to work without supervision at time.
Own transport required.

Duties and responsibilities:

To support the accountant manager in providing a comprehensive Financial and Administration support.
External Interaction: Suppliers, service providers.
Internal Interaction: Sales staff.
Processing of sales journals daily.
Processing of cash books daily.
Processing Debtor Transactions.
Processing and recording transactions as per the bank statements.
Reconciling and resolving account discrepancies.
Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as sending payment reminders, filing paperwork.
Ensure Company records are complete and accurate.
Ensure exposure to losses minimised.
Ensure all receipts and journals have been completed prior to closeoff dates.
Ensure invoices are authorised in accordance with the levels of authority and allocate to correct supplier/creditors and or general ledger accounts daily expenses.
Following up on outstanding invoices & resolving queries.
