    Job Title: Marketing Manager

    About Us

    We are a leading South African apparel and footwear brand seeking a young, energetic, and creative marketing professional to assist in taking our prestigious brand to new heights with innovative ideas and strategies.

    About the Role

    This is an office-based position that requires occasional travel, weekend work, and overtime. The ideal candidate will be an independent and creative thinker who is proactive, organised, and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Manage day-to-day handling of social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (including IG Reels), and YouTube, adapting content to suit each platform.
    • Develop and launch new campaigns to promote the business to defined target audiences.
    • Monitor and analyse performance on social and digital media platforms, researching and evaluating the latest trends.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or a related role.
    • Experience in the retail or fashion industry is desirable.
    • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
    • Basic knowledge of digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
    • Familiarity with event planning and coordination.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
    • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content.
    • Analytical skills and ability to analyse social media metrics and digital advertising performance data.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when necessary.
    • Physical and mental requirements for working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
    • Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends during special events or campaigns.
    • Understanding of current social media and digital marketing trends.
    • Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
