    Main Responsibilities

    1. Provide effective leadership and oversight for an academic programme.
    2. Programme Management and Leadership, aligned with MANCOSA's vision, mission, and strategy.
    3. Establish and maintain the programme's philosophy, linking it to the organisation's vision and mission.
    4. Design and manage the programme's teaching and learning strategy.
    5. Collaborate with marketing and student enrolment teams to identify and communicate the programme's value proposition.
    6. Programme Planning and Administration in collaboration with the Institutional Planning Department.
    7. Identify suitable academics for content development, delivery, and assessment.
    8. Ensure quality control of programme information available on our website and prospectus.
    9. Manage semesterly admissions in line with enrolment plans.
    10. Apply programme and institutional SOPs and rules.
    11. Facilitate webinars.
    12. Induct new academic staff.
    13. Promote community engagement initiatives and activities.
    14. Provide career guidance in collaboration with the Career Centre.
    15. Analyse longitudinal programme and student performance data to inform lifecycle management.
    16. Report on trend analysis and benchmarking undertaken, student throughput, retention, articulation, and dropout rates.
    17. Monitor, Evaluate, and Manage Risks.

    Qualifications


    A Master's degree specialising in Business Management or within the cognate area of Management studies (NQF Level 9) is essential.

    Requirements

    At least 3 years of experience in higher education/academic roles.

    Advantages

    A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant management and business experience is advantageous.

    At least 2 years of experience in Learner Management System administration/coordination is beneficial.

    An academic management background is highly valued.
