    Description

    Experienced Operations Maintenance Specialist Sought for 6-Month Contract

    We are looking for a skilled professional to oversee the maintenance and upgrading of network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and optimizing operational expenditure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical operations and maintenance support
    • Supervise regional Ops Maintenance team

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years of relevant experience
    • 1+ year of Project Management/Coordination experience
    • Desirable: Experience with construction regulations, property/base stations, and electrical/mechanical specifications

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Basic telecommunications principles
    • Health and Safety legislation
    • Relevant policies and procedures
    • Time management
    • Interpersonal communication
    • Problem-solving
    • Forecasting and budgeting
    • Negotiation

    Qualifications:

    • Essential: Relevant Electrical and/or Mechanical and/or Facilities and/or Construction Management Degree/Diploma (BSc, B.Tech)
    • Desirable: Project Management qualification, Leadership qualification

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Identify and implement Operations Maintenance improvement opportunities to enhance SLA targets and reduce operational costs
    • Effective project management of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance projects
    • Successful management of regional partners and contractors
    • Ensure team effectiveness and adherence to quality assurance standards for audit and ISO compliance
    • Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee national end-to-end passive maintenance of base station infrastructure
    • Quality Assurance: Manage governance and quality assurance for upgrade/build projects
    • Budget Management: Effectively manage CAPEX and OPEX to meet Operations Maintenance targets
    • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and subcontractors to ensure high-quality outputs
    • Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on the progress of upgrade, preventive, and corrective maintenance projects
    • Technical Support: Provide technical and practical support to regional OM specialists on departmental projects
    • Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement Operations Maintenance strategies to achieve SLA targets
