    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage, motivate and develop the service team members to maximize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
    • Handle all customer service and repair requests, ensuring quick turnaround of quotations.
    • Oversee the planning and scheduling of all service interventions, confirming dates with customers only when parts are available.
    • Promote forward planning to ensure field service technicians are fully utilized.
    • Complete service orders within the agreed time frame.
    • Provide regular updates to internal and external customers.
    • Confirm visit dates and inform customers of possible delays.
    • Maintain accurate customer contact information and machine location details in CCS for high-quality installed base data.
    • Suggest continuous improvements to workflow, work processes, and procedures.
    • Ensure the CCS system is up-to-date, including registration of all service activities (in warranty, out-of-warranty, and chargeable), courtesy visits, and follow-up on technician progress.
    • Escalate customer concerns to relevant internal personnel.
    • Identify staff training requirements and coordinate training activities for service staff.
    • Process Service plans and warranty administration correctly and efficiently.

    Requirements

    • Trade-tested Fitter/Millwright/Diesel Mechanic qualification.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in the compressor industry.
    • Hands-on experience with team leadership.
    • Proven supervisory skills.
    • Experience in production- and/or service scheduling in a similar industry.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office programs, including Excel and Word.
    • Familiarity with fast-paced customer-focused environments.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility, a positive attitude, and strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
    • After-hours on-call responsibility may be required occasionally.
