Up for a new challenge and feel you can make a difference? The Claims Department is looking for an enthusiastic individual as a Legal Manager in our Legal Department to oversee effective operations including Legal claims for Personal and Business Insurance.

What will make you successful in this role?
Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4
Related tertiary qualification (Not required but advantageous) Minimum Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in the STI environment
Minimum 5 years Liabilities and/or Recoveries experience, specific to Motor Vehicle Accident
Minimum 5 years Management experience Deliverables include, but will not be limited to
Sound knowledge of Motor Vehicle Collisions and Apportionment of Damages Act
Sound knowledge of Broadform Liability / Public Liability Claims
Sound knowledge of operations, systems and procedures pertaining to the Legal Department
Managing Legal Liability and Recovery Ratios
Analytical thinking and strategic objective execution
Redefining processes and procedures to optimize efficiencies within the Legal Department
Ensure efficient service quality standards to clients, brokers and third parties
Risk Management
Reporting and Administration
Quality, compliance and accreditation
Services Knowledge
People management
Objectivity Competencies Required
Ability to lead a significant team of Recovery and Liability Specialists
Ability to motivate and guide individuals to perform and reach set targets
