    Job Title:

    Digital Strategy Formulator and IT Manager

    Overview:

    This role requires a skilled IT professional to lead the digital and data team, manage third-party providers, and develop bespoke systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading IT teams, understanding database systems, and knowledge of agile development methodologies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Formulate a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with business objectives
    • Manage and coordinate the development of bespoke systems, digital channels, and software development
    • Ensure solutions and applications meet business requirements and are compliant with internal and external frameworks
    • Lead the digital and data team, including developers, technical specialists, and system analysts
    • Implement monitoring and feedback mechanisms for software development projects
    • Conduct feasibility analyses and track project progress
    • Manage risks and evaluate system solutions and processes

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification in IT, Business, Computer Sciences, or Engineering
    • Eight years of applicable IT experience, with five years at the managerial level
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Valid K53 driving license
    • Familiarity with best practice management and governance frameworks
    • Hands-on experience in coding using multiple industry standard languages

    Salary:

    R1 200 000 - R1 800 000 per annum
