Purpose of the role
To conceptualise, script and produce creative content and promos for the stations and websites as well as client commercials
Job description
Come up with creative solutions and ideas to satisfy the needs of the business
Deliver high-end concepts on behalf of the production unit
Produce quality scripts for client commercials and station initiatives
Manage execution of concepts across all platforms
Ensure maintenance of production values
Abide by the Primedia Broadcasting value s

Abide by the principles of Primedia Broadcasting's formula in all work and business relationships
Conceptualisation, development and business partnering
Conceptualise, write and produce live and recorded client commercials
Conceptualise, write and produce station promos
Conceptualise, write and produce demos for sales pitches
Conceptualise, write and produce station imaging and branding driven elements
Work closely with sound engineers in the studios to deliver promos and commercials
Team up with online producers in the production of web content
Team up with videographers in the production of video content
Take part in departmental and station events such as brainstorming sessions, status meetings, training sessions and staff meetings
Develop and manage the execution of concepts across all platforms
Package debriefs for station promotions and sponsorships
Direct voice over artists, actors and presenters for on air and video
Education
Matric
Degree or diploma preferable
Formal and informal training to support the skills required
Knowledge and experience
Over five years writing experience necessary
Traditional media or ad agency experience preferable
Film environment experience desirable
Fluency in social media advantageous

Excellent ear for radio
