    Job Title: Project Engineer

    Location: Qgeberha, Automotive Industry

    Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in the Automotive Industry based in Qgeberha. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing key customer contracts, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

    Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience

    Responsibilities:

    • Establish Key Customer Contracts: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Coordinate Project Timelines: Plan, organize, and control project schedules to ensure timely completion.
    • Manage Project Risks: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to ensure project success.
    • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Obtain Customer Sign Off: Ensure that all projects meet customer requirements and specifications before proceeding.
    • Contract Controlling: Manage project budgets, cost-to-complete estimates, and schedule tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Participate in Monthly Meetings: Attend and contribute to monthly Technical/Operations Department meetings to share knowledge and best practices.

    Requirements:

    • National Diploma or Degree in Engineering: A recognized qualification in engineering is essential for this role.
    • Minimum 5 Years' Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager is required.
    • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft PC applications (Office, Projects, PowerPoint, Excel & Word) is necessary.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
    • Planning Ability: Strong planning and organizational skills are essential to deliver projects on time and within budget.
    • Teamwork: The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial for success in this role.
    • Customer Focus: Experience working with customers in the Automotive Industry is advantageous.
