Seeking a Sales Consultant to maintain existing business relationships and source new opportunities across various sectors.

Location: Riverhorse Valley, Durban

Package: R15,000 CTC plus commission, uncapped

Petrol card and cell phone/data allowance provided

Guaranteed commission for the first 3 months

10% Provident Fund contribution

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and grow existing business relationships while sourcing new opportunities.
• Manage current projects and supply the required catering equipment.
• Achieve sales targets consistently, ensuring a high conversion rate of quotations to sales.
• Have a thorough understanding of commercial kitchen operations to support sales activities.
• Continuously increase market share by identifying and pursuing new customer opportunities.
• Generate accurate quotations for customers using company price lists and external suppliers where necessary.
• Negotiate prices and deals with customers within set parameters.
• Ensure that quotations and any required amendments are completed and submitted accurately and on time.
• Capture customer orders on the Syspro system promptly and accurately.
• Prepare weekly project sheets and journey plans, providing feedback to management regularly.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the catering equipment or related industry.
• Strong customer relationship-building skills with an outgoing and convincing personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Technical mindset, with a passion for understanding and selling equipment solutions.
• Strong culinary background or experience working in a kitchen environment is a plus.
• Computer literacy and fluency in English are essential.
