Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a farm, including crop planning, irrigation management, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the farming activities to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to control costs and improve profitability.
• Lead and motivate a team of farmers to achieve set goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of farm production, expenses, and personnel.
• Analyze data to inform decisions on crop selection, soil quality, and pest management.

Requirements:

• Agricultural or Horticulture degree with a minimum of 4 years' experience in farm management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing avocado and macadamia farms.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and direct a team of farmers.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent budgeting and financial management skills.

Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. They must also be willing to work flexible hours and adapt to changing weather conditions.
