Job Summary


As Regional Executive for Gauteng South (Physical Channels) - provide strategic and thought leadership as well as management advisory, support and strategic/tactical direction to the regional business and customer footprint across the Gauteng South region.

Best practice formulation for associated sales and distribution channels. Sales, delivery and servicing improvement tactics as well as enabling the provision of specialist expertise.


Job Description:


Is accountable for:

  • Providing strategic and thought leadership

  • Customer Acquisition, operational efficiencies including integrated cash (Branch and ATM), footprint optimization and infrastructure in accordance to Regional nuances
  • Continual enhancement of Physical Channels strategic imperatives and key tradeoffs aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives
  • Lead future fit innovation and change in an ever evolving digital era
  • Build and develop high performing teams delivering holistic customer experience
Key Responsibilities- Sales Performance Management: Establish and drive the implementation of a strategy to enhance and optimise leads- Sales and

Distribution Planning:
Develop the Sales execution strategy and business plan for Physical Channels sales & distribution channels- Sales Opportunity Management: Establish value based strategy for all leads and sales opportunities within Physical Channels- Stakeholder Management: Actively promote and manage the collaborative engagement of internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, clients, service providers, business partners and other Absa entities- Operations of the business: Ensure adherence to processes and governance frameworks- Financial management: Closely manage all regional cost levers within set approved budgets- People management: Drive an inclusive and people centric agenda that enables a outperformance culture- Customer Management: Drive the delivery of Premium Customer Service

  • In line with the Physical Channels strategy actively participate in transforming our operational processes to unlock trapped efficiencies through automation and digitisation.
  • Reimagining Physical Channels points of presence beyond brick and mortar, repositioning ourselves for a changing cash economy, reimagining the colleague of the future and embedding ESG into our core business to ensure that we remain a force for good, and uphold reputable governance standards
Education

Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications:
Business, Commerce and Management Studies (required)
