    Description

    We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to handle the delivery of business intelligence data and information. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses and analytics to meet enterprise business analysis and reporting needs.

    Job Description

    This is a contract position that may be renewed based on performance and requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain data warehouses and analytics solutions using SQL Server stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and Azure Stack.
    • Develop and implement Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards using Power BI and other tools.
    • Maintain and administer RDBMS databases, ensuring high quality and performance.
    • Monitor database activity and ensure optimal system performance.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 6 years of experience in Data Engineering using SQL Server stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and/or Azure Stack.
    • At least 3 years of experience in BI dashboard development using Power BI.
    • Proven experience in developing, testing, and administering RDBMS databases.
    • Experience with cloud migration of Data Warehouse is highly advantageous.
    • High proficiency in dimensional modelling techniques and their applications.
    • Experience in Data Science development in Python or R is an advantage.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
    • Experience working in Agile methodology environments.
