    Main Purpose: To sell insurance policies, recruit and develop representatives to achieve set sales targets. The goal is also to be developed into a Sales Manager when vacancies become available.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage commissions and finances effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports.
    • Attend a practical school for 2-12 months.
    • Specialize in long-term investments and insurance products.
    • Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
    • Provide supervision as per FSP 4.1 guidelines.
    • Orient new recruits through the onboarding process.
    • Develop Microsoft Office skills over 12 months if necessary.
    • Undergo digital training.
    • Learn about sales reporting and performance management.
    • Take disciplinary actions as needed.

    Minimum Requirements:


    Formal Education:

    • Hold a Matric qualification.
    • Possess a relevant full qualification as per the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) Board Notice.

    Technical/Legal Certification:

    • Be registered as an employee representative with the FSCA.
    • Pass the Regulatory Examination Level 1: Representatives (RE5).
    • Pass the Regulatory Examination Level 1: Key Individuals (RE1).
    • Obtain certification in Class of Business: Long Term Insurance & Investment (Advantage).
    • Maintain updated Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

    Experience:

    • Have at least 2 years' experience in the insurance industry.
    • Demonstrate experience in Category A, B1, B2, C, and Retail Benefits.
    • Show fit and proper representation for all Tier 1 products.
    • Show fit and proper representation for all Tier 2 products.

    Estimated Salary: R250,000 - R400,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
