Field Guide

FGASA Qualification

Trails Guide qualification

ARH
PDP Drivers License

A minimum of 4 years work experience as a Field Guide in a 5
Big 5 Game Lodge
DEAT and THETA.
Passed the rifle assessment as well as the trails guide examination
SASSETA Certificate
Trails Guide certificate
Valid first aid certificate
A valid South African Code 8 Driver's license and PDP
Excellent communication and people handling skills
Leadership skills with passion for development
An inherent passion for observing, sharing and learning about wildlife
The ability to work on his/her own with enthusiasm
Ensures the highest quality of game experience for the guests.

Confident, refined Lodge Anchor with previous experience in the luxury safari lodge industry

Strongly guest focused and have the ability to maintain the required standard of all the finer details in all guest areas.

A sound knowledge of and experience in staff relations is crucial as well as the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

To provide operational, systems, administrative F.B & Guest Relations support to Lodge management.

Relief Management support - delivering leadership to personnel

maintain lodge facilities & admin processes

Diploma relevant to position

3 years Game Lodge experience

Valid Driver's License
