    A trusted and well-established client of ours in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced General Manager to undertake major Oil Tanker construction and maintenance projects throughout the GCC.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion (Oil Tankage).
    2. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
    3. Full P&L Management.
    4. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
    5. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
    6. Selecting tools, materials, and equipment and tracking inventory.
    7. Meeting contractual conditions of performance.
    8. Reviewing the work progress on a daily basis.
    9. Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
    10. Planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
    11. Negotiating terms of agreements, drafting contracts, and obtaining permits and licenses.
    12. Analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks.
    13. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

    Requirements:

    1. Proven working experience in Tankage construction and maintenance management in The Gulf.
    2. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
    3. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
    4. Understanding of all facets of the construction process, project management, and people management.
    5. Familiarity with relevant construction management software packages.
    6. Ability to plan and see the big picture.
    7. Competent in conflict and crisis prevention and management.
    8. Leadership and human resources management skills.
    9. Excellent time and project management skills.
    10. Relevant Degree.
