DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Procurement

  • Promote good procurement practice with sustainability and costings
  • Analyse supplier database
  • Source and interview vendors
  • Negotiate contracts and costs
  • Determine the best price, taking quality and longevity in to account
  • Review, compare and analyse products and services to be purchased
  • Work with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements.
  • Prepare requisitions for purchase orders
  • Initiate record orders
  • Receive, inspect and distribute deliveries
  • Reconcile or resolve order discrepancies with suppliers
  • Monitor delivery times to make sure they are on time
  • Accounts to be submitted for payment to vendors on time
  • Responsible for order placement and timing, supply/demand alignment, material replenishment and supplier performance.
  • Monitor supplier performance on a regular basis
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers
  • Control and monitor expenses against approved budgets
  • Develop sourcing strategies
  • Cost saving initiatives
  • Payment terms negotiation, optimisation and management
  • Maintain contracts with vendors
  • Review inventory and update as required

Policies and procedures

  • Request of compliance of all polices and procurement procedures from all restaurants, bars and external properties
  • Request of compliance of procurement policies from all preferred suppliers
  • Creating, amending and implementation of procurement policies for the benefit of the company and operations.

Other

  • Aiding and guiding all staff under him / her
  • Undertake other related duties that may be requested by management due to the nature and character of the post.
