• Bachelor's Degree (NQF7) in Mining/ Civil Engineering/Quantity survey
• Grade 12

• Critical thinking, problem solving, planning, organizing, decisionmaking, communication skills, persuasiveness, influencing and leading, delegation, negotiation, conflict management, adaptability, stress tolerance, teamwork, people management, business management, project management, Financial Management.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on extensive operational management experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and key performance indicators. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

• 10 Years' experience in the mining environment with 3 years as senior management

• Valid driving license code B
• Medical fitness
• Should have good stakeholder relation abilities, particularly towards the client, suppliers and employees
• Should be able to source and estimate projects
• Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance and serving as primary liaison with stakeholders
• Should be able to profitably manage resources and contracts
• Should be innovative and able to design and implement operational systems
• Should have continuous business improvement skills.
• Computer literate

• Plan and direct operations and improve productivity and efficiency.
• Ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.
• Manage and enhance overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures.
• Comply with SHEQ standards.
