- Assist the Store Manager in developing and implementing a store business plan aligned with company strategy.
- Manage stock, cash, and fixed assets, including controlling shrinkage, managing debtors and RD cheques, and maintaining physical measures.
- Implement and maintain customer service standards, including customer audits and loyalty programs.
- Recruit, induct, and train employees, as well as manage manpower requirements and employee relations.
- Ensure safety aspects are managed in line with local legislation, including reporting incidents and recording all incidents.
- Maintain housekeeping and merchandising standards, as well as implement and maintain correct planograms.
- Grade 12 with at least 2 years of retail management experience.
- Valid driver's license and ID or valid work permit (local).
- Strong accounting, leadership, administrative, and human resources skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stock, cash, and fixed assets effectively.
- Computer literacy (basic computer literacy) and own transport and cell phone.
- Establishes clear and compelling outcomes for area of responsibility.
- Develops appropriate action plans to achieve established outcomes.
