    Key Operational Role Overview

    This pivotal role serves as a trusted advisor to the Operations Director, driving operational performance and strategic initiatives. As 2IC, you will lead key projects and functions, making critical decisions in the director's absence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans with divisional Heads of Department (HODs), providing guidance on timelines and success measures.
    • Oversee task execution and monitor progress with HODs.
    • Evaluate operational and strategic objectives regularly.
    • Foster best practice sharing across the estate, ensuring effective implementation.
    • Distill key messages for HODs and facilitate client information flow.
    • Act as a client liaison, understanding requirements and facilitating necessary information exchange.
    • Consolidate data and narratives for client meetings.
    • Provide operational guidance to HODs and the Operations Director.
    • Analyze data and offer insights to strengthen operations.
    • Lead strategic and operational projects, keeping stakeholders informed.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by partnering with operations and support departments.

    Requirements:

    • 3-5 years of Head of Operations experience in BPO/Contact Centre environments.
    • Grade 12 qualification.
    • Management or related qualification (advantageous).

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong leadership capabilities.
    • Decisive decision-making skills.
    • Results-oriented focus on execution.
    • Data analysis and operational performance metrics proficiency.
    • Ability to translate strategic plans into operational plans.
