    Job Title: Assistant Manager, Transport, Solutions

    The Assistant Manager, Transport, Solutions will oversee daily transportation operations to meet or exceed SLA requirements.

    This involves managing the entire process from Carrier pre-execution to on-time delivery, including administrative closure within the DSV Solutions TMS.

    Maintaining constant communication with Carriers and stakeholders is crucial to address challenges and ensure proactive updates.

    The role requires monitoring Carrier compliance with SLAs, resolving real-time challenges, reporting incidents and claims, and serving as the first escalation point for operations, customer service, and Carriers.

    Collaboration with Customer Service on queries, risk mitigation, and reporting is essential, along with providing performance reports to stakeholders.

    The Assistant Manager, Transport, Solutions will also consolidate Carrier information for reporting, build and maintain business partnerships, review order progress and capacity risks, seek value-added process improvements, and drive service development within transportation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and consolidate transportation information from Carriers.
    • Understand and execute contractual SLAs, including cross-border and international requirements.
    • Manage actions and deliverables, including escalations and timely deliveries.
    • Communicate delays and service impacts proactively.
    • Handle incidents, claims, and compliance documentation.
    • Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and processes.
    • Ensure governance and safety standards are met.
    • Perform ad hoc operational tasks as required.

    Requirements:

    • At least 5 years experience in logistics transport, including client interactions within Warehouse and Transportation environments.
    • Experience in Transport relationship management.
    • Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes, including inbound, outbound, and returns.
    • Proven skills in organizing, directing, controlling, and monitoring transporters.
    • Ability to meet and manage customer expectations, ensuring compliance with procedures, regulations, work instructions, and workloads.
    • Good interpersonal skills for client account management.
    • Strong data analysis capabilities and understanding.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
    • Conflict resolution skills at tactical and operational levels.
    • Effective communication skills across management levels.
    • Experience in incident reporting and claims management.
    • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, interpreting, and communicating).
    • Attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
    • Good time management, organizational skills, and problem-solving attitude.
    • Team player focused on collective goals.
    • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking.
    • Sense of urgency and attention to detail.

    Duties and Requirements Summary:

    • Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience.
    • Logistics qualification in Supply Chain and/or Transport Management.
    • Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Advanced skills in Excel for data management and reporting.
    • Experience with Tracking and Tracing systems.
