    Financial statement and operational audits are planned and executed including risk assessments and testing procedures. Key risks and control weaknesses are identified and evaluated with recommendations to improve internal controls and operational efficiency. Accurate working paper documentation is prepared and audit findings and recommendations are communicated. Staying up-to-date with accounting and auditing standards and regulations is essential. Independent reviews and compilations are assisted with and income tax returns are completed. Additional accounting and finance functions are assisted with as needed.

    • Plan and execute financial statement and operational audits, including risk assessments and testing procedures.
    • Identify and evaluate key risks and control weaknesses and develop recommendations to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
    • Prepare accurate working paper documentation.
    • Communicate audit findings and recommendations.
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards and regulations.
    • Assist with independent reviews and compilations.
    • Complete income tax returns.
    • Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed.
    • Must be able to handle pressure.
    • Fluent in English.
    • Have own transport.
    • Friendly, hard working.
    • Have CaseWare experience.
    • Be able to work overtime over deadline periods.

    Requirements: Completed Finance degree, working knowledge of CaseWare, and studying towards CTA. Passion for auditing and remaining in the profession.
