Description

As a the Logistics Consultant you will be responsible to provide customers with fast and reliable services focused on, but not limited to, the following sectors: Bulk Transport, FMCG & Palletised Goods and Container Transport.

They serve customers in the agriculture and minerals & mining markets across South Africa.


Responsibilities:


  • Analyze and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs for clients
  • Stay uptodate with current logistics management methodologies and techniques
  • Research and recommend technological solutions for the supply chain
  • Increase productivity and customer loyalty
  • Expand the company's coverage and presence in points of sale and distribution
  • Transform the supply chain into a competitive advantage
  • Negotiate better with suppliers and clients
  • Minimize invested capital and cash flow for activities that are not adding value
  • Respond to crises or risks that may arise in any process

Requirements:


  • 24 years of experience in a similar logistics position.
  • A relevant degree will be advantageous.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to solve problems in a creative way.
  • Excellent communication as well as language skills.
