An exciting opportunity is available to join this hospitality group as a Government Sales Manager, based in Cape Town.

If you have a proven track record as a Sales Manager with 3 to 5 years of experience in the tourism/hospitality sectors focussing on the government market, we would to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for government bodies, NGOs, and unions.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the government sector.
  • Conduct sales visits and workshops in Cape Town, Pretoria/Limpopo, and Mpumalanga.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Leverage existing client relationships to enhance business opportunities.
  • Promote and sell all properties in the group within South Africa

Qualifications and Competencies required:

Proven track record as a Sales Manager in the government market.
Established a database with strong relationships in the government sector.
Effective negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Willingness to travel for quarterly sales visits and workshops.


Requirements:


  • Matric / Grade 12 qualification
  • South African Citizen
  • Own reliable car
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean work record
  • Reside in Cape Town
