    SEO Specialist Job in Claremont, Cape Town

    Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist with 3-5 years of experience to join our technology client in Claremont, Cape Town.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO campaigns, content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase ranking on major search networks.

    You must hold a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) certificate and have experience in HTML code cleaning for optimization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review and update keywords and meta tag data for optimal targeting.
    • Clean up underlying HTML code to enable search engine spiders to crawl and read the website.
    • Analyze client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized.
    • Develop detailed strategy reports identifying powerful keywords to drive valuable traffic.
    • Stay up-to-date on SEO strategies to comply with search engine guidelines.
    • Develop link-building strategies and write effective SEO content for blogs, websites, and social media accounts.
    • Perform ongoing keyword research and optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization.
    • Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success.
    • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content programming.

    Requirements:

    • Web Development Diploma
    • Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) Certificate
    • Minimum 4-5 years of working experience as an SEO Specialist
    • HTML code cleaning experience
    • Google Analytics experience/certification

    Salary:

    R200,000 - R300,000 per annum plus benefits, negotiable
