Are you ready to ignite your career in Visual Merchandising? We're on the hunt for a dynamic Visual Merchandise Coordinator to join our vibrant team at the Support Centre in Kuilsriver


As part of the Visual Merchandise team within our Operations department, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, coordinating administrative tasks, executing exciting new projects, and nurturing our operations communication platforms.


KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:


  • An understanding of the marketing strategies, branding, customer behaviour and principles relevant to value retailing, as well as a practical grasp of the South African industry.

SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • Excellent organisational, planning, project management, and time management skills
  • Selfreliant, selfmotivated, results orientated and meet deadlines.
  • Well developed interpersonal skills the ability to interact and influence effectively at all levels.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


Essential:


  • 2 years' experience in administration and exposure to customer service, working within a retail/marketing environment.

Preferred:


  • Exposure to Project Management

QUALIFICATIONS:


Essential:


  • Grade 12

Preferred:


  • Diploma in Marketing or equivalent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Promotional Manual roll-out

Delivery and Tracking

  • Ensure that all stores POS has been delivered (close relationship with supplier & distributor to determine late arrivals for communication purposes), and compilation of POD's has been issued and gathered.
  • Identify discrepancies to manage hotline orders for the month ahead for shortages.

Record Keeping:


  • Any changes in store data (store tier change etc.) are updated on master lists and updated information is sent through to supplier.
  • Monitors hotline orders for the month and update store folders to ensure that record is being kept of items being ordered.

Communication:


  • Feeds back with relevant information regarding shortages and expected delivery dates based on communication with agency/supplier.
  • Ensure that promotional manuals are available on Synergy for stores to access (different store tiers loaded on different areas).

2. Seasonal Manual roll-out

Delivery and Tracking:

  • Identify discrepancies to manage hotlines orders for the season ahead for shortages.

  • Any irregularities for Seasonal manual (store tier change etc.) is updated on the master list and updated information is sent through to supplier.
  • Monitors hotline orders for the month and build GM per SBU per store folders to ensure that the record is being kept of items being ordered.

Communication:


  • Feeds back with relevant information regarding shortages and expected delivery dates based on communication with H&C
  • Ensure that Seasonal manuals are available on Synergy for stores to access (different store tiers loaded on different areas)

Synergy Platform:


  • Scheduled Maintenance (upkeep and relevance of information available on the platform).
  • Liaise with Admins to identify needs and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Contribute to the development of new items on synergy.

3. New Store Openings

  • Compile VM equipment overlay and submit to the Procurement department:
  • Departmental initiatives
  • Till backdrops
  • Mannequins
  • Formulate packing list and brief suppliers accordingly:
  • Seasonal
  • Promotional
  • Generic
  • New store opening pack/ edocs compiled and sent to relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow up and resolve queries escalated from DSM's / Stores.

4. Project and Test Support

  • Research
  • Project Communication
  • Tracking
  • Collating information
  • Assist with mockups (Mock shop and Instore)
  • Assist with testing.
  • Coordinate VM projects (small projects, when applicable)

5. General Data and Admin Support

  • Managing the VM store list on the Company Branch & Telephone List as well the Operational Branch List.
  • Liaise with the post office to ensure all waybills are printed, and manuals dispatched (Seasonal Look and NSOs) Synergy back up (only when VM Specialist are out of office)
  • Receiving and capturing orders and invoices on Fraxion.
  • Capex asset allocation via finance department
  • Liaising with the CAD department and aiding the DVMs with floor plans (post revamps)
