Were recruiting an External Insurance Sales Consultant for a client within the telematics/fleet management industry based in Randburg, Johannesburg to promote our Client to the Insurance Industry and to meet sales targets.

Its a permanent role and will report to the Business Sales Manager.


Responsibilities:

Promote the Client to the Insurance Industry.

Provide on-going product information to a portfolio of brokers/administrators/underwriters.

Implement and manage incentive programmes/marketing opportunities.

Regular training to Insurance Intermediary staff on all products and services.

Weekly/monthly reports, monitor portfolio performance, track trends within the industry.

Achieve set monthly and yearly targets.

Attend after hour functions if and when required.

Attend to necessary administration.

Identify new business opportunities.

Facilitate process improvements by engaging with internal stakeholders.


Requirements:


Matric with at least 2 years experience in dealing with Brokers/Underwriters/Insurers or selling short term insurance to the public in external sales capacity.

A Short Term Insurance qualification would be advantageous.

MS-Office proficiency.

Excellent presentation skills.

Valid Drivers Licence.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Must be a self-starter. Able to work within a team.

Completion of recognized formal sales training courses or relevant experience.

Negotiating and Sales Skills.

Proven track record of sales target achievement.

Self-motivated and passionate about driving Sales.

Customer Orientated and Solution driven.


Remuneration:

Basic salary Market Related (including medical aid and provident fund contributions).

Company petro card.

Commission applies.
